Kingfisher

With 312 HTML pages and 1579 files, Kingfisher International's site is a massive information resource. I have been the primary designer and webmaster of the site since 2001.

Recent Redesign

February 2006

The recent redesign (February 18th, 2006) was coded using CSS, Javascript, XHTML and HTML and designed and image-optimised in Photoshop. Despite the sheer scale of the site, it's not database driven, but hand coded. This has the benefit of being burnable onto a CD, a core concern for Kingfisher.

The Design is partially based on their new corporate image, but is mostly of my own invention.

Javascript-based Product Selector

January 2004

Working together with the Marketing and Technical directors of Kingfisher, I created, in under a week, a product selector that was deemed impossible to provide without a database by various web consultant professionals at the time. It's a bidimentional menu that offers tailored package solutions to over 40 different markets and demands on one page.
